2026 Holiday Class: Lawmaker Offers Free WAEC Prep, Grants for Top Students





Hon. Dr. (Princess) Adesola Ayoola-Elegbeji, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency, has announced a free intensive holiday coaching programme for SS3 students preparing for their final examinations.


The lawmaker disclosed that the intervention forms part of her broader commitment to strengthening educational development, improving learning outcomes, and investing in the future of young people across the constituency.


In a statement released to journalists, Hon. Ayoola-Elegbeji explained that this edition serves as a pilot phase of the initiative. According to her, subsequent editions will be expanded to cover other communities across the constituency, ensuring wider reach and inclusive access to quality academic support.


The programme is specifically designed to provide structured academic support, deepen subject understanding, and equip students with the confidence required to excel in the upcoming WAEC and other senior secondary school examinations.


Programme Details


The coaching programme is scheduled to hold from Monday, 13th April to Thursday, 23rd April, 2026, running daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.


Venues for the exercise include:


· Sagamu High School, Sagamu

· Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu

· Muslim High School, Sagamu


Organisers noted that participants will benefit from experienced and dedicated tutors, intensive revision sessions, and practical engagement with past examination questions, all tailored towards achieving excellent results.

According to the lawmaker’s office, the programme offers intensive, exam-focused preparation; access to qualified and experienced educators; comprehensive revision of core subject areas; and improved confidence and readiness for examinations.


In further demonstration of her commitment to rewarding excellence, top-performing students at the end of the programme will receive academic grants to support their educational pursuits.

Interested SS3 students are strongly encouraged to register promptly, as available slots are limited. Students are advised to visit the constituency office or contact official channels for registration and further enquiries.
